Thomas The Train

I saw this today on the Girl Talk blog. I had a good laugh. I definitely can relate since my nephew LOVES Thomas and all of his friends. At least Jacob is kind and loving to his Aunt Jenn when he has to correct her!

This is so true. Jacob NEVER gets them wrong. He can even recognize them by their faces! With the total innocence of a child, he quickly corrects us if we get one wrong or even stumble over the name.
Today was a great learning day for Jacob. He brought his chewed gum to Daddy Luke to be put in the paper and thrown away! There is a neat story here, but too lengthy to post. Let's just say he knows more about promises and what they mean. And, I have to tell you, Thomas the Train played a role in the lesson by use of the book "Thomas Breaks a Promise"!

If it makes you feel better, Jacob and I do flash cards on accounting terms so he can better interact with his Aunt Jenn. Go ahead sometime and ask him about a balance sheet.
